Luann de Lesseps won’t be losing her reality TV gig on the Real Housewives of New York over her drunken Christmas Eve arrest.
According to sources Bravo loves the real-life drama and isn’t even thinking about taking disciplinary action against Luann.
“It won’t [jeopardize her position on the show]. Reality loves reality,” a source tells Page Six.
Meanwhile, Luann’s partner-in-crime Julie Olson opened about their run-in with the Palm Beach police and spins a very different story then what we’ve already heard.
“It’s a guy she had previously dated. It’s not a big deal,” Julie Olson told Page Six.
Julie says Luann and the mystery man left the bar, but the man reappeared about 15 minutes later, asking her to help Luann, who “wouldn’t understand she was in the wrong room.”
“I think I got there a little too late when the damage was done,” Julie adds.
However, Julie denies being in the hotel room when the police arrived and the claim that she “smelled of an unknown alcoholic beverage, had slurred speech and appeared to be highly intoxicated.”
“They’re missing the part where I came up to help. That should have been there,” Julie insisted.
“It was so early in the evening. I was fine,” she said.“I went home, had a cup of tea and went to bed.”
In the end, Julie is staying positive about Luann’s arrest and says she will survive whatever comes her way.
“We’re going to take this and turn it into a positive,” Julie wrapped. “There’s got to be a silver lining.”
Thoughts on Julie’s side of the story? Are you surprised Bravo isn’t taking any disciplinary action against Luann?
