Former Real Housewives of New York star, Jill Zarin recently celebrated her birthday, and the thing she was most grateful for was more time with her ailing husband, Bobby Zarin.

In an emotional and touching post, Jill opens up about Bobby’s on-going cancer battle and how he continues to fight every day.

“Thank you to my girlfriends who made me go out to lunch the other day and surprised me with this beautiful cake. Thank you to my daughter ally for the beautiful post this morning. You know how to make a mama cry,” Jill writes.

Continuing, “I am most grateful to God who continues to give Bobby and me more time together. When Bobby always said to me “cherish the moment” I never knew the power of that message until now. We continue the fight against Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer every day and to astound his doctors with the strength and determination to defy all odds. Thank you to everyone for the texts, posts, and messages. I read them all, and they give me the strength to continue to fight every day.”

Meanwhile, Jill also shared on Instagram that she and Bobby are selling their infamous Zarin compound in the Hamptons.

In the two-part video, Jill gets emotional about not only leaving their beloved summer home but also at the thought of her eventual life without Bobby; revealing that Bobby is in the hospital once again.

“After 5 years of wonderful memories, it was very sad to say goodbye to #CampZarin today. Thank you to all of the friends and family who visited Bobby and I through the years in Southampton. I love you all!” Jill shared.

If you don’t recall the last few summers Jill’s Southampton home has a hot-spot for Real Housewives and Bravolebrities for her annual Luxury Luncheon charity event.

First, Happy Belated Birthday to Jill but more importantly Jill and Bobby will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers every day.

Thoughts on Jill’s birthday post? Are you surprised Jill and Bobby are selling their Hamptons home?

Medusa and Rain, watch the 2nd video on Instagram. Apparently, she’s hired a professional video company to record her crying at the Southampton house. Here’s what she posted: mrsjillzarinPART 2: Saying goodbye to Camp Zarin. Thank you for all of the memories. Click #linkinbio for full video (thank u to @db_creative for filming) This is supposed to be genuine? The woman never had, or shared, a real moment in her life. Also, he’s still alive. Why is she crying about about life without him? Why is she in the Hamptons when he’s in the hospital? Why isn’t she at the hospital? The last person who got her hair done, got dressed up with full makeup and posed for the camera, completely camera ready, was Vicki, who then acted her reaction to her mother’s death. Jill Zarin and Vicki: a pair of malignant narcissists.

HI Tapestry!!! Thanks for this info. You have me about everything except to question why Jill would cry about Bobby’s impending death. “Bawby” has indulged & loved Jill throughout their marriage. He’s been her rock. Being faced with Bobby’s terminal illness, it’s natural for her to waffle between feeling hopeful and fearing the inevitable. Trying to picture her life without her steady partner is probably unbearable.

When my husband was in the hospital, I never left his side, except to go home and sleep. I used to get home at 11 o’clock at night. When I was in the hospital, he did the same thing. Every second of his day revolved around the hospital. Instead of caring for her (dying?) husband, Jill is having videos made of her by a professional video company in the Hamptons. I have no sympathy for her now or ever. I feel really sorry for Bobby, who has been devoted to her, and who didn’t deserve this kind of neglect at the end.

I didn’t handle the same situation as Jill is doing. However, it’s not for me to judge her. Dying & Grief are individual experiences. Everyone handles them differently. It would be typical of “Bawby” to encourage Jill to go do something else besides sit with him for long periods of time.

As this is the second health issue (same health issue) it’s normal for humans to put their affairs in order, such a sad route.

I thought Jill & Bobby sold their Hamptons mansion years ago. At least, that was what she said in the beginning of S3 RHONY.
Jill’s birthday cake looks more like a wedding cake. Wow!!!

It’s very sad for Bobby. Cancer’s a bitch. From Jill’s chirpiness, it seems as though Bobby is doing relatively okay, atm.
Where there’s life, there’s hope. Never give up hope.

    • Rain

Well said darling, never give up hope ???????
