Danielle Staub Dolores Catania Let's Discuss: Margaret Josephs Siggy Flicker The Real Housewives of New Jersey - RHONJ

Margaret Josephs Thinks Danielle Staub Should Be Full-time on RHONJ; Plus Admits She Was Scared To Meet Kim D!

Between her signature hairstyle and intense feud with Siggy Flicker, newbie Margaret Josephs has made quite the impression on the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Love her or hate her Margaret is never one to hold back on her opinions or feelings. And she’s doing just that in a new interview with the Everything Iconic podcast.

Obviously, Margaret’s arch nemesis Siggy was a topic of conversation and believe me Marg had a lot to say about the Sig.

Margaret explains that unlike herself, Siggy holds a major grudge, and takes things way too seriously. Yet Margaret notes that she does “make light” of everything, which she feels enraged Siggy even more.

“I personally think that she does hold a grudge. She has a hard time moving on, and she needs to be right and be vindicated. And I made fun of her. I make light of a lot of situations. I find everything to be hysterical and entertaining. I laugh at every single thing in my life. My family wants to shoot me half the time because I do that. That probably upset her even more. We all didn’t take it seriously. Teresa [Giudice], Melissa [Gorga], Danielle [Staub], and myself all found it funny. So I think I enraged her even more.”

As for the cake-gate storyline, Margaret believes that the cake drama escalated because no one, besides Dolores, took Siggy’s side, which added fuel to the fire.

“When everyone wasn’t saying she was right, that just inflamed the situation,” Margaret explained, pointing out that when Siggy called out Melissa at her purse party, she did it because she knew everyone at the party would agree with her.

Adding, “When she embarrassed Melissa she had to say it in front of a group of people that were her friends that would say ‘You’re right. You’re right. You’re right.’”

However, Margaret does have sympathy for Siggy’s sensitivity over being called “Soggy Flicker.” Margaret makes it clear that after learning that Siggy was bullied as a child over her name, she stopped calling her “Soggy” despite finding humor in the nickname.

“When she tells me why it upset her, I haven’t done it again after that,” Margaret reveals.“I found it funny. It’s painful to her, and she takes everything to heart. I’m not that person. I think that at the age of fifty, you have to start to take things lighter and keep things light.”

Despite all the drama, Margaret admits she’s not phased by the drama with Siggy.

“I find it extremely entertaining. I think we’ve been great for the season, the way it’s been unfolding. I can’t take it that seriously. The more she has a meltdown, the better it is for me, I guess,” Margaret said.

Speaking of drama, Margaret then moves on to her thoughts on why Danielle Staub was made a friend of the Housewives instead of being made a full-time Housewife.

“I don’t know why. I love Danielle. We’re really good friends. I think she should definitely be a full-time Housewife. I don’t know if she was too busy when she decided to to do it,” Margaret theorizes.

Yet, Margaret believes that Danielle will be full-time for season 9 and thinks that Bravo will keep the entire current cast.

“Obviously Danielle would be full-time. I think I would keep all of us,” Margaret reveals. “Even though Siggy and I don’t get along, who am I going to argue with? I would add somebody else in. We could use one more blonde to keep me company.”

Meanwhile, Margaret also discussed the friendships within the cast and while it’s obvious that she’s cool with Danielle, Teresa, and Melissa Gorga there’s also another co-star she really likes – sometimes.

“I love me some Dolores [Catania].. sometimes. We have a lot of ups and downs.” Hinting that her and Dolores’ friendship is much like the friendships on the RHONY.

“You know what I love about New York, the girls fight, make up, get back together, and I just want some of our girls to do that,” Margaret said.

To wrap up the interview, Margaret touches upon the upcoming drama with Kim D; admitting that she was nervous to meet her.

“We go to the Kim D Posche fashion show. I really don’t know Kim D. I met her there. I only know stories of Kim D and what I’ve been told,” Margaret admits. “I was scared. I’m not gonna kid you.”

I love how honest Margaret is without being mean. Great interview with lots of scoop!

Thoughts on Margaret’s interview? Do think Danielle will be full-time for season 9? Does Siggy hold a grudge?

  • I really like what Mags has to say each week . No bs, no sugarcoating. I like that even though others may have issues past and present , she’s a chance giver and learns on her own ( i.e., Danielle, Teresa, whoever)
I like that she’s looking at entertainment factor and not holding grudges and living off being judgemental , negative !

  • I don’t understand why Danielle isn’t a full time housewife, because she has gone to all of the events that they’ve shown.

I was “Team Danielle” about her saying Dull said Teresa only cares about money. However, after watching the last episode I changed to “Team Dull,” because Dull has been very upfront & honest about her dislike of Danielle from the start, so it wouldn’t make sense of Dull to tell Danielle something as important as that. I don’t think Dull really likes Teresa either, but I think she like Danielle even less. I don’t think Teresa really likes Dull, either. That BS about Teresa & Dull knowing each other for 20 years doesn’t mean anything, because we’ve all known people for more than 20 years, but it doesn’t mean we like them.

I still think Melissa automatically takes Danielle’s side on EVERYTHING, because she’s worried about stuff from the past coming out.

I really like Mar & this season.

  • Mag’s is reading Soggy bottom right..in fact, I think Soggy set up Mags…thinking Mags would be ostrasized by the women after hearing that “soggy” is a trigger for her…WRONG

Soggy should have reveled that during the first meeting with Mag’s..(the one soggy uses her exorcist voice “I’m not tryingto empower you I’m trying to destroy you”) …soggy could have spilled at that meeting..nope..she decides to “shame” Mag’s in front of paying participants at an “empowerment” retreat!

    soggy still sux

  • I agree with Siggy on the two counts Marg mentions. I would be upset too about cake-gate and about a nickname. Nickname is very immature of Marg and glad she stopped. Marg is hysterical but not at the expense of someone else.

    • Oh, I have no problem with Marge being funny at Siggy’s expense. She’s Jacko-by-Proxy, minus the alcohol. Exhausting, full of shit, and self absorbed.

Siggy created cake-gate. All she had to do was call Teresa & Melissa and tell them it was a stupid thing to do and she’s hurt.

I think Marge is calling it as she sees it.
