Gretchen Rossi hasn’t exactly had the best of luck since leaving RHOC. She and Slade never officially tied the knot after her elaborate proposal, she has had financial struggles with little employment and now she is being sued…by her own lawyers.
The California blonde reportedly has failed to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to a law firm, and now the company is suing. I mean it’s pretty basic knowledge that if you don’t pay for services received the company is likely going to sue.
The firm called Brown & Charbonneau, LLP, located in southern CA has filed a suit against Gretchen for not paying them as far back to 2013! The amounts are astounding, as it is reported she received $285,000 worth of services. If that wasn’t bad enough, it’s reported that she failed to pay them another $16,000 a few months later.
Despite what’s being reported, Gretchen is stating that it’s a simple, “misunderstanding.” Hm….Gretchen doesn’t exactly have the best track record with finances so I’m going to tend to believe the law firm’s side on this one.
Despite stating that it’s nothing more than a misunderstanding, Gretchen further stated that she intends to pay off the balance after she collects money in a different lawsuit. Gretch – when you’re involved in so many lawsuits and are counting on them for an income maybe you should take a closer look at yourself and your life.
Gretchen and Slade also had personal issues when they failed to appear on the OC special and producers slammed her for being fake and faking their proposal. Gretchen wasn’t exactly a favorite of the cast either so I don’t think she will be welcome back anytime soon.
