The Real Housewives of Potomac wasn’t a fan favorite to start, but Bravo is giving the DC-area cast a second shot! The wives previously confirmed that they didn’t know they were filming for The Real Housewives as it was happening, and many blame that for the lack of drama. We learned at the end of the season 1 reunion that RHOP got a second season, and they began filming a few months later.
The whole original cast was invited back, but after only a few weeks of filming Katie Rost quit the show, and in my own personal opinion that was the best thing that could happen to RHOP!
We recently talked with one of our RHOP sources who confirmed that Katie is definitely out, and it’s unclear if anything to do with her this season will come up or not. There is definitely “one new cat member to replace Katie, but at this time I can’t reveal much more,” our source said. RHOP has done a great job of keeping this under wraps; usually the new cast members are leaked right away. Or unfortunately, maybe it’s that no one is really that interested!
We were also able to find out that filming is winding down, and RHOP is “set to premiere in April.”
Our insider further insister that, “season 2 will feel much more like The Real Housewives that season 1 did. The cast knows what they are filming for and are very into it.”
The AATRH team is going to give the RHOP ladies one more chance to redeem themselves; we are ready for season 2 to bring the drama!
