Since we’re taking a little break from real housewives this week, I think it’s safe to say that everyone has been watching the Olympics. Since we’re going through a bit of a housewives withdrawal we knew we had to tie the housewives series in somehow and were able to find a few connections. So which housewives cast members have ties to the games? Turns out both are from California!
First up is the man of many talents, Mohamed Hadid. A little known fact about Mr. Hadid is that he was an Olympic athlete, competing in the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France. Mohamed represented the country of Jordan in speed skating and although he didn’t medal, claims it one of the highlights of his life. Between being a uber wealthy mogul, Olympian, admirer of beautiful women and father to super models – it’s safe to ask if there is anything he can’t do??
Next up is an OC connection that wasn’t an athlete but still has a surprising connection! Former RHOC Peggy Tanous took to her Twitter account to let fans know that her father-in-law’s creation was being proudly displayed by Team USA!
Peggy proudly stated: “Love that #TeamUSA wore #poloralphlauren blazers! My father-in-law designed the Polo pony logo!”
