Another Real Housewives marriage has bit the dust! To nobody’s surprise, the union between Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas appears to be 100% over as Cynthia recently spoke out after months of rumors and speculation that the two have decided to officially separate after nearly 6 years of marriage.
Speaking with Bravo, Cynthia confirmed that the two are separated and a divorce now seems inevitable:
“Peter and I are separated. He lives in Charlotte, and I live in Atlanta.”
Fans of the show shouldn’t be surprised as Peter was caught on camera getting too close to another female and their marriage on RHOA was anything but sexy. Cynthia has also been seen with her ex (and father to her daughter) Leon and has called him her ‘soulmate’, even when shew was still with Peter.
On what separation means for Cynthia and Peter, Cynthia states:
“I am definitely taking some time to myself to figure out how I want to move forward. I don’t want to rush into anything, so I think this time apart is good for us. And I think the space apart, I think he can appreciate it as well. I think it gives people time to think and process and just move forward in a way that really is healthy for everyone involved.”
“Whether or not we decide to stay married or not, that’s something that we have to decide soon. But right now, I’m enjoying the time apart, taking time for myself.”
Watching from the outside it doesn’t seem like their marriage is salvable as they don’t seem to have any chemistry, live in different state and Cynthia even mentioned on camera that she is no longer attracted to him. I wouldn’t be surprised if a divorce is announced soon.
