To say that Charrisse and her husband have a rocky relationship would be an understatement. Charrisse has admitted that they are living separate lives and her husband has recently lost his high paying job of head coach at Rutgers.
Charrisse has admitted that she wanted to file for divorce after 18 years of marriage; so naturally viewers have been wondering if she actually was going to go through with it!
On a recent episode of WWHL and reveals that there still may be a glimmer of hope in their marriage as Charrisse states she hasn’t filed (at least not yet!)
However anyone with high hopes that the long time married couple could make it work were disappointed when Andy asked a follow up question with one of the most awkward answers ever!
Andy followed up by asking Charrisse about her husband losing his job and if he was able to find new employment yet (since they are married this seems like a logical question.) Charrisse responded to Andy by saying “I don’t know. Call him. I don’t know.”
Um – awkward? Charrisse basically admitted that although they are still married she has no idea how he is doing (or if he is even looking for work) after he lost his job. If you’re not connected at a time like this (when one spouse losing their dream job) I think it’s safe to say all signs point to divorce.
Charrisse had previously wrote in her Bravo Blog that her marriage wasn’t over until the fat lady sings; however from the sound of it she may be singing soon!
